Immediately following High School, Jeff Reimer entered the United States Army June of 1989 and served active duty to July of 1993 as an Intelligence Analyst. Jeff Reimer served overseas with the 2nd Squadron 4th Calvary Regiment in Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm. After deployment, Jeff was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and served his final year in Korea with the 501st Aviation Brigade. Jeff honorably separated active-duty service to attend Western Ct. State University while continuing to serve with the Connecticut National Guard until 1997. In 1995. Jeff entered a career of law Enforcement for the East Windsor Police Department. Jeff was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2007 and was the Shift Commander for most of his remaining career. Jeff was also involved as the local Police Union President protecting Officer’s rights and benefits for approximately 20 years. In his final two years of service, Jeff served as the President of the Public Safety Committee for AFSCME, the largest Police Union in the State of Connecticut. Jeff’s main responsibilities were to represent and help negotiate state laws effecting police officers.
